As Ann says, being an independent bookstore is a risky business. And starting one up is expensive. You can help. By becoming a Founding Member you will be helping us buy the fixtures and inventory needed for the bookstore. As you know we will be opening going into the holiday season and that means we need to hit the ground running. We would like to make sure we have the funds needed to keep those shelves stocked for you. Thank you for your support!

**If you sign up for our First Editions Club we will deliver a signed first edition 6 to 8 times a year to your doorstep. The selections will be handchosen by the staff of Parnassus books and will include established authors or potential new literary stars. These author signed editions should increase in value as time passes. All books are billed at list price, plus postage.
