About the Book:
Alice Randall tells untold stories. This time, with her fourth novel, it’s the story of Black Bottom, the Black Detroit neighborhood that once rivaled and eclipsed Harlem as an engine of Black artistic excellence, economic progress, and political power before it was destroyed. A major theme of the novel is that joy is radical! Join us for a holiday themed virtual book event featuring seasonal libations from Black Bottom Saints. 2020 has been a very hard year. Black Bottom Saints is a spirit lift and a joy jolt. The Saints of Winter have what it takes to get us through.
