Parnassus Books is thrilled to welcome Pete the Cat and authors James & Kimberly Dean for a PETE THE CAT PIZZA PARTY at Parnassus Books on Thursday, September 5th at 4pm! The authors will read the book, do a Pete drawing demonstration, and sign books, and PETE HIMSELF will be here taking pictures with kids! Plus, guests can grab a slice of pizza on their way out!
Tickets are required for all attendees, and there are four ticketing levels:
Admission for up to TWO adults and/or children ages 2 and up: $21.50
Admission for up to THREE adults and/or children ages 2 and up: $23.50
Admission for up to FOUR adults and/or children ages 2 and up: $25.50
Admission for up to FIVE adults and/or children, ages 2 and up: $27.50
Please note: children under the age of 2 do not need a ticket, but children ages 2 and up will need to be covered in the ticket. If your party includes more than five people, additional tickets are required. Each ticket, regardless of how many people it admits, includes one SIGNED copy of Pete the Cat and the Perfect Pizza Party.
In order to accommodate as many families as possible, James & Kimberly Dean will sign and personalize ONE book per ticket. The book you choose to take through the signing line can be a loved copy of a Pete the Cat book from home, a new Pete book you've purchased at the event, or they can add a name/names to the copy of Pete the Cat and the Perfect Pizza Party included with your ticket.
Want to get more than one book signed? The authors will sign one additional book for each copy of Pete the Cat and the Perfect Pizza Party purchased at Parnassus, and additional copies will be for sale at the register.
About the book:
It's a party, a party, a perfect pizza party!
That's what Pete thinks as he piles the pie high with his favorite topping--pepperoni. But then his friends come over and add their own toppings to the pizza. Will Pete's perfect pizza be ruined? There's only one way to find out!
About the authors:
In 2004, Kimberly & James Dean sat down at their kitchen table to work on a children's book together. Their dream finally became a reality with the release of Pete the Cat and His Magic Sunglasses. Both left corporate jobs in the late nineties (James was an electrical engineer, Kimberly worked in the press office of the governor of Georgia) to pursue their passion for art, and they have experienced a life made up of strange and wonderful coincidences ever since. Pete the Cat has brought magic into their lives. They work in side-by-side studios in Savannah, sharing their home with five cats and Emma the pug.
