He is the author of several collections of poetry, including: The Lover’s Guide to Trapping, Unarmed and Dangerous: New and Selected Poems, Domestic of the Outer Banks, The Times Between, What Women Know, What Men Believe, Balance as Belief, The Run of the House and Since the Noon Mail Stopped.Adam Vines is an assistant professor of English at the University of Alabama at Birmingham, where he is Director of the Honors English Program, Editor of Birmingham Poetry Review, and Faculty Advisor for the UAB Fishing Team.
