Please join Parnassus in welcoming Will Schutt and Joshua Robbins for a special poetry event! Will Schutt is the author of one collection of poetry, Westerly (forthcoming from Yale University Press), which won the 2012 Yale Series of Younger Poets competition. His poems have recently appeared in FIELD, Harvard Review, The Kenyon Review Online, and The Southern Review. His translations from Italian have appeared in AGNI, A Public Space, and Drunken Boat. He is the recipient of fellowships from The James Merrill House, and the Stadler Center for Poetry.
Joshua Robbins teaches literature and creative writing at the University of Tennessee. Praise Nothing is his first collection of poems. His recognitions include the James Wright Poetry Award, the New South Prize, selection for the Best New Poets anthology, and multiple Pushcart Prize nominations. His work regularly appears in journals such as Mid-American Review, Third Coast, Verse Daily, Copper Nickel, Southern Poetry Review, and elsewhere.
