Parnassus Books is happy to welcome J. Ronald M. York for his new novel Nathaniel & the Midnight Movers.
Ricky was young, ambitious, and determined not to be just another queen with fabulous taste and nothing to show for it. This was the 1970s and elegantly decorated model homes were beginning to pop up in conjunction with the exploding local condominium market. Alarm systems and neighborhood watches had not yet become commonplace. With just a simple bump and grind on a furnished model’s front door late one night, Ricky concluded that anything might be possible – dreams could actually come true.
For nearly twenty years with the help of his best friend, his college roommate and an ex-lover or two, no furnished model or tour home was safe from Ricky aka Nathaniel and the Midnight Movers. Even a few close calls with the law never slowed down his little gang of thieves in their quest for the finer things in life.
in the car and ride along – it will be an adventure you won’t forget.
