Please join Parnassus Books in welcoming local author Andrew Maraniss for a discussion and signing of his new book, Strong Inside: Perry Wallace and the Collision of Race and Sports in the South. Andrew Maraniss will be in conversation with Mayor Dean. This fast-paced, richly detailed biography, based on more than eighty interviews, digs deep beneath the surface to reveal a more complicated and profound story of sports pioneering than we've come to expect from the genre.
