About the Author
Kenneth Grahame (1859 - 1932) was a Scottish writer famous for his novels The Wind in the Willows and The Reluctant Dragon. He worked at the Bank of England until his retirement in 1908. E. H. Shepard (1879 - 1976) was an English artist best known for his illustrations of Winnie the Pooh and The Wind in the Willows. He served in World War 1 and worked at Punch magazine, becoming the lead cartoonist in the 1950s.
