This is the story of William Finnegan's obsession with surfing. He started surfing as a child in the beaches of Hawaii and California and, though he was a quiet and diligent boy, his passion for the waves made him abandon everything and pushed him to travel during his youth through the South Pacific, Australia, Asia and Africa. Thanks to these experiences, he would end up being a well-known writer and war correspondent. Anos salvajes takes the reader to unknown amazing worlds.
